Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we offer specialized training for reactive or anxious dogs. This is actually our specialty. We address this heavily with working breeds like German Shepards, Pitbull's, and a variety of hunting and herding dogs. We begin with a consultation to understand your dog's specific needs and start training in low-distraction environments, gradually moving to more challenging settings as your dog progresses.
Our training methods are leadership-based, focusing on communication through accomplishment. We reinforce positive behavior before introducing corrections, building strong bonds and reliable obedience. Our training revolves around point of contact with a leash. Additionally, we prepare dogs for upland bird hunting.
We have two different training options. The first option is 1on1 training where your family and dog come in for training once a week starting with 4 training sessions. Additional training sessions can be assessed as needed. Our second option is Board and Train where we do training for you. This is either a 2 week session where we primarily work on molding good behavior while changing bad behaviors with a lead. We also offer a 4 week off leash Freedom program with an E collar.

Most importantly bring an open mind ready to learn.
Absolutely! You should be present and ready to learn how to communicate effectively with you dog. Your presence and attention will be needed upon pickup from a Board and Train or a 1 on 1 Lesson. This will ensure your confidence and your dogs ability to communicate.
For consistency and training effectiveness, visits are limited. We’ll provide regular updates and photos—and warmly welcome you for a meet-and-greet at graduation.
