Our Story
How our Dream became a Reality
Riley Family Farm and Kennel is a small family owned and operated business brought to you by Cliff and Lindsey Riley. We are located about 45 min West of Indianapolis Airport and 1 hour North East of Terre Haute, Indiana or about 12 minutes North of Greencastle, Indiana.
We Pride ourselves on our passion and diligence when training dogs. We were not aware of how deep that passion lied until we met Jordan from J.Wells Kennels, LLC and Sonny Piekarz from Hay Creek Kennel, LLC that things finally started developing for Cliff and Lindsey. Jordan and Sonny introduced Cliff & Lindsey to what they have since dubbed The Method. The Method Dog Training simplified and streamlined the process of training dogs of any breed.
This Journey has led us on a path so divergent from our previous course it is hardly recognizable. Since getting involved with bird dogs we have bought a farm, built a house, and built a barn large enough to open a Boarding Training and Bird Dog Camp.

Our Services
​Upland Bird Dog Training
Boarding and Day Socialization
This is for boarding dogs while away for vacation, work, or daily physical activity.
Puppy Development approx. 2 Week
Bird Intro – Gun fire intro - 8 weeks to 6 Mos of age
Foundation approx. 6 Week
Handling Learning to Communicate 6 months (based on per dog maturity) or older the basis for all communication moving forward. E-Collar intro Intermediate approx. 6 Week
Convert Communication from the Foundation to behavior around birds.
Foundation Training (based on maturity of dog)
Advanced approx. 6 Week
Requires Foundation and Intermediate levels of training also recommendation of trainer. Polish, Performance, All Conversions to neck E-collar.
Tune up
Have you let training lapse over the summer? Dog out shape? Pre-Season Conditioning? Post season fine tuning? Much of this requires previous Training with Kennel.
